Think about an elephant and its reaction to a mouse; remember the classic Disney cartoon “Dumbo”? Did you know that they are afraid of ants too? An ant, one of the smallest creatures, weighing about 5 mg, can cause one of the largest animals weighing millions of times the ant to tremble in fear. Isn’t that peculiar? In fact, there are many things or situations that are driving great fear into the lives of people around us. Many times, that fear drives people to do very irrational things that they often regret.
Fear can also render us powerless in certain situations; then we suffer. Our self-preserving nature often drives us to make decisions that are focused on keeping fear away from us; whether or not this is the most rational response to a circumstance. Of course, we need to keep safe, so it may be necessary to escape a dangerous situation. However, most times the solution is simple, just find someone who is stronger than we are where this matter is concerned. If we isolate ourselves with a difficulty that we cannot manage, what hope is there for us?
If we can trust no one to help us with a situation we are powerless to manage, that isolation will cause our fears to inevitably overwhelm us. That, in turn, may drive us along a path we had no intention of travelling. We need to have someone who can provide a different perspective, who can see beyond the circumstance binding us, and help to provide release from the power this fear. Nobody can do it all by themselves. Having someone we can trust is the simple solution to our fearfulness.
Who can you rely on when fear overwhelms you?[/text_output][share title=”Share this Post” facebook=”true” twitter=”true” google_plus=”true” linkedin=”true” pinterest=”true” reddit=”true” email=”true” id=”” class=”” style=””][/vc_column][vc_column fade_animation_offset=”45px” width=”1/3″][ultimate_heading main_heading=”Recent Posts” alignment=”left” main_heading_font_size=”desktop:20px;” main_heading_font_family=”font_family:Oswald|font_call:Oswald”][/ultimate_heading][recent_posts type=”post” count=”3″ orientation=”vertical” fade=”true” offset=”” category=”” id=”” class=”” style=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row padding_top=”0px” padding_bottom=”0px”][vc_column fade_animation_offset=”45px” width=”1/1″][vc_raw_html]JTNDc3R5bGUlM0UlMEEuZW50cnktdGh1bWIlMjBpbWclMjAlN0IlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjBtYXgtaGVpZ2h0JTNBJTIwNDAwcHglM0IlMEElN0QlMEElMEEucG9zdC1jb250ZW50JTIwJTdCJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwdGV4dC1hbGlnbiUzQSUyMGp1c3RpZnklM0IlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjB0ZXh0LWp1c3RpZnklM0ElMjBpbnRlci13b3JkJTNCJTBBJTdEJTBBJTNDJTJGc3R5bGUlM0U=[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row padding_top=”0px” padding_bottom=”0px”][vc_column fade_animation_offset=”45px” width=”1/1″][vc_raw_html]JTNDbWV0YSUyMHByb3BlcnR5JTNEJTIyb2clM0FpbWFnZSUyMiUyMGl0ZW1wcm9wJTNEJTIyaW1hZ2UlMjIlMjBjb250ZW50JTNEJTIyaHR0cCUzQSUyRiUyRnd3dy5peWZqYW1haWNhLmNvbSUyRndwLWNvbnRlbnQlMkZ1cGxvYWRzJTJGMjAxNyUyRjAyJTJGcHQtaW1nLWZlYXIucG5nJTIyJTNF[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row]
