What about the contents of the bottle, would it leak out? No, it wouldn’t, the bottle won’t allow anything to pass through it. Just like this, we live with our hearts tightly sealed like a plastic bottle. When our hearts close, we aren’t just keeping everything inside, we are also unable to receive anything from the people around us. Even a container with our favourite, if left sealed and untouched, the contents will eventually decay and become foul.

Many people say they are comfortable living with their hearts tightly sealed. They may do it because of fear of being hurt or being condemned. Psychopaths are oftentimes characterised as individuals who have withdrawn from society, avoiding group activities and usually don’t have friends. Time and time again, this kind of sealed heart has produced horrifying behaviour. This current generation has convinced itself that the safest thing is to cover and hide their heart. However, our heart has automatic triggers; if we don’t use it, it will automatically seal itself shut.

How then does one open their heart? Just the thought of sharing our hearts is so burdensome that most people don’t want to even try. Regardless, just opening up even a little can allow a ray of light to enter, kicking out the darkness that was once reigning.  Shutting everyone out is never a good idea, knowing this makes it easier to share.

So…how do we open our hearts? If it is hard to say what we feel deep down, let’s start by opening our mouth and saying…anything. As we open up, little by little we will learn trust and the burdensome things will eventually fall away, leaving our hearts bright and free.  [/text_output][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row padding_top=”0px” padding_bottom=”0px”][vc_column fade_animation_offset=”45px” width=”1/1″][vc_raw_html]JTNDc3R5bGUlM0UlMEEuZW50cnktdGh1bWIlMjBpbWclMjAlN0IlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjBtYXgtaGVpZ2h0JTNBJTIwNDAwcHglM0IlMEElN0QlMEElMEEucG9zdC1jb250ZW50JTIwJTdCJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwdGV4dC1hbGlnbiUzQSUyMGp1c3RpZnklM0IlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjB0ZXh0LWp1c3RpZnklM0ElMjBpbnRlci13b3JkJTNCJTBBJTdEJTBBJTNDJTJGc3R5bGUlM0U=[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row]
