Tigers, jaguars, leopards, and pandas are considered to be solitary animals, they hunt alone. Humans are social creatures, that is how we are created. Contrary to what we may think, we are designed to be happier in groups. However, after our pride has been hurt a couple times, we start to think we prefer being alone.
It is often said that the best defence is a good offence. If we’re going to be hurt, we protect ourselves by attacking first and being callous or thick-skinned. When we’re callous and on the defensive, we conclude that we’re unfriendly. However, the truth is that we’re just afraid of being hurt.
When we play sports, we may get hurt but we play anyway. The joy is in extending ourselves. The more exhilarating and strenuous, the more fun it becomes. Someone who plays sports and tries to avoid getting hurt isn’t fun to play with and can’t enjoy the game. If you play for a while you’ll find a comfortable position but we are all designed to play.
We are designed to socialise, anything else is simply not true. It’s not that you’re unfriendly, you just haven’t found your position. The truth is that we’re all already on the field, there IS a position for us on the field.
Come on out, you’re already playing. Let’s enjoy the game![/text_output][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row padding_top=”0px” padding_bottom=”0px”][vc_column fade_animation_offset=”45px” width=”1/1″][vc_raw_html]JTNDc3R5bGUlM0UlMEEuZW50cnktdGh1bWIlMjBpbWclMjAlN0IlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjBtYXgtaGVpZ2h0JTNBJTIwNDAwcHglM0IlMEElN0QlMEElMEEucG9zdC1jb250ZW50JTIwJTdCJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwdGV4dC1hbGlnbiUzQSUyMGp1c3RpZnklM0IlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjB0ZXh0LWp1c3RpZnklM0ElMjBpbnRlci13b3JkJTNCJTBBJTdEJTBBJTNDJTJGc3R5bGUlM0U=[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row]
Admittedly this is so true. Growing up as a child I was always protected and didn’t get much opportunity to socialize with other children. Because of this when I entered school in didn’t know how to interact with the others. When I was faced with a challenge from the others I easily broke down and cried because my expectation of how things should be were totally different. This is how I resolved to harden myself and become tougher, more aggressive and stand up for myself. Unfortunately this made it even more difficult for me to socialize with the others. However at it I’m learning that there is a different, a better way than what I thought… Through the world of the heart
