Haven’t you at some time, wondered why you are the way you are? Why is your life like this and why there seems to be no hope for you? When we look at ourselves through our eyes and with our experience alone as our reference, no wonder we conclude that there’s no hope.
Los Angeles, officially the City of Los Angeles and often known by its initials L.A., is the cultural, financial, and commercial centre of Southern California. It hosts Hollywood, the movie capital of the world where your favourite films are made and where many movie stars reside. However, you may be surprised to learn that it was once a barren and desolate desert.
How did it transform into such a beautiful city? Actually, someone recognized that despite being a desert, the location was perfectly suited to become a harbor with incredible potential. The problem: a desert has no water. The solution: water was routed to the location from the Colorado River through huge pipes. Smaller pipes were used to distribute water to various sections of that city. The result: LA as we know it was born!
When river water was introduced, the desert became an oasis. A fertile city where flowers bloom, trees grow and birds sing. People liked LA and started to move there from all over the world. Once they arrived, they built houses, set up schools and started businesses. Now it is the second most populated city in the United States (after New York City).
Think about it, what if the pipes that bring water from the Colorado River were disconnected? People could not survive there for even a week. Water from the river changed that arid desert into a beautiful city. The same is true for people’s hearts. A heart with no hope can simply import hope and it too can transform into a beautiful one.
When we try to change our lives on our own then it is extremely difficult. It is natural for us to give up along the way. No matter who we are, everyone has a heart. How that heart flourishes or wastes away depends on what we import or accept. Based on what we accept, our ways of life will differ.
If you have no hope, that’s ok. Simply import some! Just like LA changed when water was introduced, your heart can flourish too.[/text_output][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row padding_top=”0px” padding_bottom=”0px”][vc_column fade_animation_offset=”45px” width=”1/1″][vc_raw_html]JTNDc3R5bGUlM0UlMEEuZW50cnktdGh1bWIlMjBpbWclMjAlN0IlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjBtYXgtaGVpZ2h0JTNBJTIwNDAwcHglM0IlMEElN0QlMEElMEEucG9zdC1jb250ZW50JTIwJTdCJTBBJTIwJTIwJTIwJTIwdGV4dC1hbGlnbiUzQSUyMGp1c3RpZnklM0IlMEElMjAlMjAlMjAlMjB0ZXh0LWp1c3RpZnklM0ElMjBpbnRlci13b3JkJTNCJTBBJTdEJTBBJTNDJTJGc3R5bGUlM0U=[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row]
